The Vaults, and the cellars that they are named after, date as far back as the 1200's. However, it is thanks to a certain Mr. Phillip Hills that we may now call them The Scotch Malt Whisky Society's spiritual home. Since 1983 we have welcomed our members and their guests to our magnificent Member's Room. Its maturation has been long and slow and we feel this rare and exceptional example is one that you feel very much at home in.

To keep our Members and team safe, we are adhering to all of the latest rules and guidance from the Scottish Government (below):

• Mandatory collection of contact details will remain in place, in accordance with local licensing laws applying to all hospitality sectors. 
• There is no requirement to wear a mask while seated at a table or while eating or drinking (whether seated or standing). We ask for face coverings to be used when moving throughout the venue.
