An elegantly fruity Speyside single malt, matured in a selection of bourbon hogsheads and Tokaji seasoned STR barriques. Tokaji is the national wine of Hungary and is one of the oldest wines in the world. It is made from grapes left longer on the vine, which are affected by "noble rot" (Botrytis cinerea).

The Panel noted a luscious combination of dark fruits with exotic undertones at first nosing. We found dried tropical fruits, fruit chutneys and jams alongside appearances by balsamic and rancio. Water brought weighter elements such as cooking oils, putty, beeswax and sultanas.
