Tasting Notes
We imagined walking through a sunflower field in full bloom on a fresh early summer evening, the air filled with aromas of sweet spices and honeyed nuts. The taste was like a cinnamon bagel with salted butter and strawberry jam or a lemon drizzle cake with lemon curd and double cream. On the nose, water added candied hazelnuts, pear tart tatin and chantilly cream. Unctuous on the palate, as we had a cinnamon ice cream with a port and orange sauce. At two years of age, we combined selected casks from the same distillery into a variety of different casks to develop further. This is one of those casks.
