Tasting Notes
Aromas were sweet and enticing as pineapple tarts and vanilla slices joined toasted pine nuts dusted with icing sugar while violets joined hazelnuts and pencil shavings. A wave of chilli spice washed over the palate before toffee apples, nutmeg and shortbread joined peach syrup with cranberries, fudge and chamomile tea. Adding water released dusty aromas of dry hay, flower beds and coconut husk before green papaya and gooseberry jam merged with oak and pine trees in a lush forest. Now, runny honey and maple syrup coated ginger, cinnamon and cloves to balance a drying finish of grapefruit, fresh oak and apricot stones.
