Tasting Notes
A floral aroma of verbena plants mixed with red and orange marigold before we opened a box of apple and cinnamon muesli. On the palate a spicy sweet chilli sensation to start was followed by lemon curd served with a tart rhubarb compote all washed down with a ‘Weissen Sour’- stir marmalade with bourbon add lemon juice and bitters, shake and top up with a wheat beer. After reduction, the cocktail had a bit more class as it turned into a Manhattan on the nose while to taste iced gems, rich tea biscuits and in the finish the classic rum and lime cocktail, a Daiquiri.
