Tasting Notes

Aromas arrived wrapped in creamy butter and sticky fudge, like croissants drizzled with sugar syrup and filled with oily marzipan. Meanwhile green notes drifted over fresh tarragon, thyme and basil as green leaves fell from lemon trees. On the palate a juicy start of strawberry sherbet combined with ginger spice before hard toffee stood aside for lime marmalade, fresh herbs and eventually green bell pepper. Water emphasised the green notes, now portraying cut grass, green banana and hard mango. Oranges and lemons merged with honey and pine on the tongue. Juniper berries suggested gin with dry vermouth alongside fresh coriander and apple pie before menthol, nut skins and tree bark combined on the finish.
