Tasting Notes
The room fell into deep silence, which is always a good sign. Finally, words were uttered such as pure elegance, sheer brilliance, so delicate, filigree as a spun sugar decoration on a vanilla cake, and an amazing fruity oakiness in the background. On the palate this was completely balanced, graceful like a ballerina; revealing tropical fruits, white grapes with a hint of spice and maybe a tobacco note or that of dried tea leaves. If you so wish, add a drop of water and the scent will turn even more elusive, yet mesmerising. The taste was elegant, fragrant and fruity, with the slightest bitter note of lemon zest – simply gorgeous!
