This is a digestible aestival festival, bursting with aromas and flavours of summer. The nose - fresh as linen flapping on the line, has lemon groves, strawberries dipped in syrup, apples and gorse, with clean mineralic notes. The palate has delicate traces of oak (coconut, pineapple, peach and rhubarb sweets), cloudy lemonade, rosewater and marshmallow with Demerara sweetness. Adding water increases the freshness of the nose – preserved lemons, white peach iced tea, saltwater taffy and, we kid you not, sun-cream and beach sand. There’s a plentiful plethora of peaches on the palate, sweet coconut and lemon creams – and a divine texture.
