A rather snazzy nose at first, full of spiced vanilla cake, white miso, green pepper, limoncello mixed with tonic water and a light, easy earthiness. Some grassy olive oil and fruit salad chewy sweets as well. With water we noted lime curd, elderflower cordial, mossy tree bark and cinnamon pastries. The neat palate was very easy going and yet possessed a nicely assertive nibble of white pepper and caraway. Some pineapple juice in the background too. With reduction it evolved towards digestive biscuits, custard and plain scones with strawberry jam.
