Tasting Notes
The panels initial notes included fresh cut grass, vanilla tablet, fabrics, chalk, white tea, sweet oatmeal and flapjack infused with runny honey. Water enhanced the fruitiness with yellow plums, damson preserve, rose syrup, lychee and olive oil cake. A firmer hint of waxed canvass added body underneath. The palate opened with tutti frutti, heather honey, sweet flower blossoms and some spry notes of coconut and plum wine. With reduction we found lemon barley water, limoncello in tonic water, orange travel sweets, sugary herbal teas and pink marshmallows. Some sugared almonds and cream soda.
