Char's in their ryes

Lots going on with this one, as the Panel's notes included face creams, Turkish delight rolled in black pepper, eucalyptus lozenges, dried tarragon, sawn mahogany, mint julep and orange cordial. In the background were sultanas, juicy fruits and rolling tobacco. Reduction suggested shoe leather, heather ales, crusted port, cinnamon bark and pecan pie. We also got maraschino juices and dried orange peels. The neat palate was massively spicy with dried jalapeños, fig syrup, orange cocktail bitters, root beer syrup, date molasses and spiced honey cake. Water brought out cherry liqueur, tea tree oils, wintergreen, aniseed and paprika, served with many dark-grained breads and strong black tea.
