Tasting Notes
We all looked at each other when first nosing this one neat, and the first comment was “this is going to be fun!”. Descriptors like carbolic, smoked first aid bandages and herbal medicine incense only reiterated that motion. The taste neat went even more crackers with smoked sweet and sour sweets as well as petrol doused banana split being the two most appropriate and repeatable comparisons. After dilution we got brackish water, Elastoplast, sterile gauze swab and deep heat, while the taste reminded us of WD 40 and Brasso metal polish, all washed down with a gulp of sea water – “this put the fluence on me!”
