Tasting Notes
The initial aroma is like strolling around the fruit vendors in a market. Aromas of citrus fruits, mango, passionfruit, apples and pears hits you with full force. Next minute, you have turned around the corner and entered the pastry area. Swedish punch rolls, arrak balls and honey glazed sponge cake is in the air and is mixed with dried herbs and burnt almonds. Water gives more vanilla notes and butterscotch together with the fruits. Without water it is a powerful whisky with tropical fruits, fudge, butter scotch, nutmeg and pickled pears. A peppery spiciness is present the whole time and with water you get a note of liquorice that lingers on.
