Tasting Notes
Imagine the scene, sitting in your favourite chair after a long hard day listening to soothing music and opening the book ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ to read one of those Middle Eastern folk tales with this dram by your side. It tasted like Moroccan chebakia - deep fried cookies coated in honey and sprinkled with sesame seeds. With a tiny drop of water, we imagined flying over a desert on a carpet beneath a starry night and into a hookah lounge dreaming of the stories we had just read. Following eight years in an ex-bourbon hogshead, we transferred this whisky into a 1st fill Oloroso hogshead.
