Tasting Notes

We all felt that we entered the granary in a barn with aromas of threshed grain and malted extract next to an even fresher scent of lemon verbena as well as spearmint. On the palate neat we enjoyed dough balls with garlic butter but at the same time spiced strawberry ice cream, while in the finish an Austrian Grüner Veltliner wine - peachy notes with undertones of pepper and spice. After reduction the granary turned into a sawmill, punchy pine sap and chalky strong mints were followed by sour fizzy cherries, pear drops and a Tower of Glamis apple which was juicy, crisp and brisk.
